Detailed description of Santa Teresa Golf Club, Nine Hole

Santa Teresa Golf Club, is a Public, 27 hole golf course facility located in San Jose, California. The facility has The Eighteen Hole Course and The Nine Hole Course.

_______________

Santa Teresa Golf Club, The Nine Hole Course, opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Gene Bates.

The greens are fast and very well manicured. There are three lakes that come into play on six holes. The surrounding area of the course has mature trees and is a very serene and relaxing setting, according to locals.

Santa Teresa's Nine Hole Course is one of the finest par 3 short courses in Northern California. "Shorty" has water hazards on 4 holes and sand traps abound. "Shorty" is a great place for beginners and seasoned golfers alike to practice their short game. No need to book a tee time, “Shorty†is a walk-on course.

_______________

Santa Teresa Golf Club, The Eighteen Hole Course, opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by George E. Santana. Robert Muir Graves redesigned the Eighteen Hole Course in 1982.

The eighteen hole course has both flat and undulating greens. Water comes into play on two holes, and there's only a few sand bunkers on the course.

Santa Teresa Golf Club, The Eighteen Hole Course is a par 71 layout that plays to 6.742 yards. This course is one of the most popular and challenging courses in the Bay Area. Santa Teresa is a pleasingly designed course surrounded by many beautiful trees. Golfers will enjoy the wide fairways, fast greens and strategically placed hazards.

The nine holes are crowded into a relatively small area. Course etiquette particularly by young adult and teen players was exceptionally poor and there was no awareness by course staff that it was disruptive and disconcerting to adult and youth players.
